about me
My name is Tammy Hubble and I am a qualified nutritional therapist.
I haven't always been a nutritional therapist, BC (before children) I worked in management and was definitely in the 'work hard, play hard' category.
After I had a break from work, my husband and I were blessed with two beautiful girls and I was fortunate enough to take some time out to enjoy them as babies. Unfortunately, whilst juggling two young children and a start-up business, at age 40, I was diagnosed with grade 3 breast cancer. My tumour grew 20 mm in 3 weeks, so considering my 2 and 4 year old daughters, I threw myself into every surgery and treatment possible - at the time my only thought was that I would go through anything to survive for my girls.
When everything calmed down, I took stock of what I had been through and realised that I needed to make some changes in life. Reduce stress, look after myself better and educate myself about what was right for me.
After spending many successful years in the restaurant business, I have always been passionate about food and love cooking and developing my own recipes. I've always enjoyed working with people, so becoming a nutritionist was the obvious step for me - not only to continue educating myself, but to help others with chronic conditions to improve their health and wellness too.
I believe that food should be a source of pleasure and not create worry and stress, which is why I chose the name 'D3lve In'.
All our needs are different; what's good for the goose, isn't always good for the gander'. So I am all about finding out what is right for you and focusing on including more of it in your diet.
Even the smallest diet and lifestyle changes can make a vast improvement to your health, well-being and energy and I have had the pleasure of witnessing this first hand in a number of clients.

interests
Having previously held top management positions in professions which demanded long hours and lots of after work social engagements, I show particular empathy towards fatigue, stress and anxiety. I also have a keen interest in gout, sinus issues, asthma, any digestive disorders, infections and immune depletion.
Whilst recommending nutrition to support and improve overall health, I specialise in M.E. and chronic fatigue syndrome. I take the guess work out of supporting your journey back to health and most importantly can help you get the most out of life,.
After working in the restaurant and health industry for a number of years I understand what's involved in running a busy restaurant and enjoy working along side them to advise on their menu and recipe nutritional values, as well as suggesting healthy alternatives. I believe this has a knock on effect on their customer base and the population as a whole.
Being an avid home cook and having managed many a kitchen, I plan to run a number of healthy eating workshops - watch this space....

what is nutritional
therapy?
Nutritional therapy is appropriate for anyone who wishes to improve their health or optimise their overall well being and energy levels. It can help in the prevention of disease and provide support for anyone with an existing chronic disease.
Nutritional therapists work alongside conventional medical doctors; we don’t claim to provide an alternative solution but aim to provide clients with all the diet and lifestyle advice they need to optimise their health and allow them to feel the best they can.
Nutritional therapy is the application of nutrition science in the promotion of health, peak performance and individual care. Nutritional therapy practitioners use a wide range of tools to assess and identify potential nutritional imbalances and understand how these may contribute to an individual’s symptoms and health concerns. This approach allows them to work with individuals to address nutritional balance and help support the body towards maintaining health. Nutritional therapy is recognised as a complementary medicine. It is relevant both for individuals looking to enhance their health and well being and for those with chronic conditions wishing to work with or 'consult' a nutritional therapist in collaboration with other suitably qualified healthcare professionals.
Practitioners never recommend nutritional therapy as a replacement for medical advice and always refer any client with ‘red flag’ signs or symptoms to their medical professional. They will also frequently work alongside a medical professional and will communicate with other healthcare professionals involved in the client’s care to explain any nutritional therapy programme that has been provided.
Practitioners consider each individual to be unique and recommend personalized nutrition and lifestyle programmes rather than a ‘one size fits all’ approach.
